Sugar Bakers made our wedding cake and grooms cake for our wedding on 9/7/19 in Harford County. I am so pleased with them and we had no cake left over because people went for seconds and thirds!! I thought we would have to spend an arm and a leg, but Sugar Bakers is so resonably priced! They told us not to freeze our top tier because they will provide us with a top tier at our 1 year anniversary for free! All cake toppers were from Etsy, but I told Sugar Bakers my vision and my husbands and they did not disappoint! Everyone at the shop was extremely helpful and the cake tasting was wonderful! The cakes were delivered perfectly and I only had to put the topper on. I cannot recommend them enough!!! (photos are from an iphone, sorry! Still waiting for the final set of wedding photos!)

Great Experience...I purchased a 50th birthday cake from them and it was beautiful and it tasted amazing! (Lemon chiffon w_raspberry ganache- iykyk 😋) Everyone loved it. They made the cake exactly how I described and it was ready on time. I checked 3 other popular bakeries in the area before choosing them and I made the right choice. I highly recommend. .
I was beyond happy with my daughter’s wedding cake. We did tiramisu, lemon, and yellow layers. The flavors were delicious! The cake was absolutely gorgeous. I highly recommend using Sugar Bakers for your wedding or any special occasion!!!
Literally some of the best tasting cake ever. The consistency of the raspberry amaretto frosting is not to my liking but it doesn't affect flavor or appearance at all. Just my preference...its um more oily I guess. But seriously, amazing no complaints. We'll there 2 locations is ridiculous. GPS takes me to 23 mellor. By the time I figure out its not right for dropping by, I can't work up enthusiasm for on Street parking.
So far, we've used Sugar Bakers for our wedding cake, a 60th birthday cake, and another birthday cake. Each experience has been SO good (literally). We've worked with Staci each time and she is amazingly patient, has great suggestions and has a lot of inspiration pics once you share your vision. We did several tastings, and she was always very prepared. The cakes have been beautiful and so tasty. Professional cakes cost a lot of money, but Sugar Bakers is very reasonable and 100% worth it. We love that it's a local bakery, and the staff at the main store has always been helpful and friendly. Just FYI they don't take AMEX (unless this has recently changed).
I searched for weeks trying to recreate a specific wedding cake. And while I could not recreate the exact cake, SugarBakers had the variety of favors, enhancements and most importantly frostings, to create a delicious, smooth, not to sweet cake that was beautiful and pleasing to an adult palate.
Our wedding cake from SugarBakers Cakes was absolutely beautiful and tasted even better. During the tasting, Staci was wonderful to work with and helped bring our vision to life. When we saw the cake on our wedding day, it was stunning. Almost too pretty to eat! We received so many compliments from our guests and can’t wait to enjoy it again for our first anniversary. We highly recommend SugarBakers Cakes for anyone looking for a perfect blend of beauty and flavor.
This is the second time I’ve ordered a custom cake for my kids birthday and they never disappoint us! The cake came out beautifully and more importantly it tasted amazing. Not overly sweet, like we requested and the very balanced between moist and fluffy. We’ll definitely be coming back for future baked goods!
